Luck Favors Those Who Help Themselves :: Short But Inspiring Story

A flood was threatening a small town and everyone was leaving for safety except one man who said, "God will save me. I have faith."

As the water level rose a jeep came to rescue him, the man refused, saying "God will save me. I have faith."

As the water level rose further, he went up to the second storey, and a boat came to help him. Again he refused to go, Belying, "God will save me. I have faith."

The water kept rising and the man climbed on to the roof. A helicopter came to rescue him, but he said, "God will save me. I have faith."

Well, finally he drowned. When he reached his Maker he angrily questioned, "I had complete faith in you. Why did you ignore my prayers and let me drown?"

The Lord replied, "Who do you think sent you the jeep, the boat, and the helicopter?"

:: Moral of the Story ::

The only way to overcome the fatalistic attitude is to accept responsibility and believe in the law of cause and effect rather than luck.

It takes action, preparation and planning rather than waiting, wondering or wishing, to accomplish anything in life.

Be Deaf To Negativity :: Lovely Motivational Story

Once upon a time there was a bunch of tiny frogs who arranged a running competition. The goal was to reach the top of a very high tower. A big crowd had gathered around the tower to see the race and cheer on the contestants.

The race began...

Honestly, No one in crowd really believed that the tiny frogs would reach the top of the tower. crowd yelled statements such as:

"Oh, WAY too difficult!!!"

"They will NEVER make it to the top."

"Not a chance that they will succeed. The tower is too high!"

The tiny frogs began collapsing. One by one. Except for those, who in a fresh tempo, were climbing higher and higher.

The crowd continued to yell, "It is too difficult!!! No one will make it!"

More tiny frogs got tired and gave up. But ONE continued higher and higher and higher. This one wouldn’t give up!

At the end everyone else had given up climbing the tower. Except for the one tiny frog who, after a big effort, was the only one who reached the top! THEN all of the other tiny frogs naturally wanted to know how this one frog managed to do it?

A contestant asked the tiny frog how he had found the strength to succeed and reach the goal? It turned out. That the winner was DEAF!!!

:: Moral of the Story ::

Never listen to other people's tendencies to be negative or pessimistic. because they take your most wonderful dreams and wishes away from you — the ones you have in your heart!

Always think of the power words have. Because everything you hear and read will affect your actions! Therefore, ALWAYS BE POSITIVE!

Be DEAF when people tell YOU that you cannot fulfill your dreams! Always think: God and I can do this!

Be Creative... Better Ways! - Awesome Short Story

A blind boy sat on the steps of a building with a hat by his feet. He held up a sign which said: "I am blind, please help." There were only a few coins in the hat.

A man was walking by. He took a few coins from his pocket and dropped them into the hat. He then took the sign, turned it around, and wrote some words. He put the sign back so that everyone who walked by would see the new words.

Soon the hat began to fill up. A lot more people were giving money to the blind boy. That afternoon the man who had changed the sign came to see how things were. The boy recognized his footsteps and asked, "Were you the one who changed my sign this morning? What did you write?"

The man said, "I only wrote the truth. I said what you said but in a different way.

What he had written was: "Today is a beautiful day and I cannot see it."

Do you think the first sign and the second sign were saying the same thing? Of course both signs told people the boy was blind. But the first sign simply told people to help by putting some money in the hat. The second sign told people that they were able to enjoy the beauty of the day, but the boy could not enjoy it because he was blind. The first sign simply said the boy was blind. The second sign told people they were so lucky that they were not blind. Should we be surprised that the second sign was more effective?

Be creative. Be innovative. Think differently. THERE IS ALWAYS A BETTER WAY!

Be thankful for what you have. Someone else has less. Help where you can and make it great for the needful.

Short Motivational Message

An ancient Indian sage was teaching his disciples the art of archery. He put a wooden bird as the target and asked them to aim at the eye of the bird.

The first disciple was asked to describe what he saw. He said, "I see the trees, the branches, the leaves, the sky, the bird and its eye..."

The sage asked this disciple to wait. Then he asked the second disciple the same question and he replied, "I only see the eye of the bird."

The sage said, "Very good, then shoot." The arrow went straight and hit the eye of the bird.

Unless we focus, we cannot achieve our goal.

It is hard to focus and concentrate, but it is a skill that can be learned.

Lenovo IdeaTab S2109

Lenovo has officially outed its latest tablet, the IdeaTab S2109, an Ice Cream Sandwich slate measuring 8.9mm thick. Spotted crossing the FCC recently, the IdeaTab S2019 takes a page from the iPad 2, with a 9.7-inch 4:3 aspect display; unfortunately, it’s using a 1024 x 768 IPS panel, rather than the double-resolution Retina Display on the new iPad.

The unibody shell has a “gunmetal” finish, though there’s no mention of whether it’s actually metal or not. Inside is a battery good enough for a quoted 10hrs of runtime, though we still don’t have confirmation on what processor is keeping the IdeaTab S2019 running: Lenovo has previously looked to NVIDIA’s Tegra 2, so it’s possible that the newer Tegra 3 is under the hood here. Update: There’ll be a TI OMAP inside, though which we don’t know

It’s Ice Cream Sandwich that should make the biggest difference, though, and we’re glad to see tablet manufacturers finally waking up and packaging the newest version of Android. Both regular Android Market access along with Lenovo’s own app store are on offer for third-party software.

No word on pricing or availability at this stage.
